View from the southern facing balcony of the Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria.
The 1,441 room, 17-18th century palace was the former summer residence of the Austrian imperial family. It's French styled Great Parterre Garden shown here, was planned by Jean Trehet and is lined with 32 sculptures of Greek deities, a few of which can be seen above.
To give an indication of the length of the garden, the distance between where this photo was taken and the Gloriette (the elevated building on the horizon) is approximately 750 meters (from GoogleMaps assuming no elevation of the landscape)
