This effect (selective colour, I believe) has never looked this good. Usually by doing this it makes the rest of the image washed out because of the lack of strong contrast. Here, you have a good balance of that because of the wide range of tone and I also like the use of negative space in the top one-third of the image. Needless to say, I'm awestruck. Well done.
